Version 3.3.18.110.
- General:
- The unit of measurement for pressure differences is now bar or psi, depending on the applied unit system. Now pressures do always reference either they are absolute (bar-a o psi-a) or manometric pressures (bar-g o psi-g), except when they are pressure differences (deltas) as when dealing with pressure drops, when this distinction does not apply.
- Changes in the measurement units for the Consistency Index which was cP and now is cP·s(n-1).
- Geometry:
- Weight Calculation: AHED now calculates the weight of every component of the heat exchanger (tubes, shell, tubeplate, nozzles, headers, baffles, etc.), being able to calculate the weight per modulo and weight per block (this information is now included in the TEMA sheet).
- Fixes in the calculation of header's minimal lengths: Now the thickness in header's flanges are taken into account correctly when calculating their mínimum length. Previously, because of an error in this feature, users could validate geometrically impossible cases.
- Baffles:
- A new method for calculating support baffles has been implemented. When the number of baffles is set to 0, the system will calculate only the baffles required to meet TEMA recommendations.
- Calculation of baffle weights (when present).
- The inner diameter of the shell now dynamically affects the tolerance of the Diametral Clearance Shell-Baffle (δsb). Additionally this value is checked to be in the range [0mm, 15mm). The Diametral Clearance Tube-Baffle (δtb) value is also checked to be in the range [0mm, 1.5mm).
- Baffles thickness is checked against the recomended TEMA Table CB-4.4.1 Baffle or Support Plate Thickness. If the used thickness is below the value indicated in this table, a warning is shown.
- Licenses:
- Users with Trial and Educational licenses will only be able to request one license per email address. This license will be tied to the hardware they are using at the time of requesting it.
- And as usual... minor bug fixes and improvements.
